URS Corporation (GMOS) on Newberry Street in Aiken, South Carolina, supported Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month by wearing the color TEAL on Friday, September 3rd - National Wear Teal Day. Refreshments of ice cream and cup cakes were served in the afternoon - and a group photo was taken of everyone wearing teal!
And guess where the cupcakes were ordered?? Georgetown Cupcake of the TLC hit show, DC Cupcakes! Georgetown Cupcake is supporting National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. They have created a special cupcake featuring the TEAL ribbon called "Teal Velvets" and 100% of the proceeds from the sales of the Teal Velvet cupcakes during the month of September will benefit the work of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.
